Taipei, January 2025 — Taiwan’s first publicly listed jewelry company, Risen Group-KY (4807), has signed a strategic partnership agreement with DE International (formerly Butterfly Art). This collaboration aims to create new international opportunities for Taiwanese jewelry designers while integrating art and commerce in innovative ways.
A Visionary Platform for Designers
Under the leadership of General Manager Lin Ru-yin, Risen Group-KY has leveraged over 30 years of experience in the European and American jewelry markets through its Thai subsidiary. In 2020, the company launched the D.Vita Designer Dream Platform via its Taiwanese subsidiary, Risen International Corporation (RIC). Guided by the principles of “Love and Sharing,” “Cross-Industry Collaboration,” and “Co-Creation,” D.Vita seeks to unite creative talents and amplify their potential, empowering designers to achieve extraordinary visions.
The platform uses two core programs—“Star-Seeker Selection” and “Star-Making Dream Project”—to nurture design talent and promote them globally. Through digital marketing strategies, D.Vita has expanded its presence internationally, including the establishment of the online fashion shopping platform, ReModa Designer Nest.
A Collaborative Step Forward
The signing of the partnership between Risen International Corporation and DE International represents a significant step forward. Together, they aim to:
Provide Commercial Opportunities: Open new avenues for Taiwanese jewelry designers to showcase their talents in overseas art and jewelry markets.
Support Art and Design Events: Facilitate jewelry exhibitions, showcase performances, and provide services for international award applications.
This partnership aligns with Risen Group-KY’s goal of expanding Taiwan’s jewelry design influence on the global stage. By combining Risen’s market expertise with DE International’s strong network and curatorial capabilities, this collaboration is poised to create unparalleled opportunities for local talent.
Looking Ahead
As D.Vita’s Shining Star Selection enters its second year, the partnership promises to elevate the program further, offering more designers the chance to shine on international platforms. This initiative also reinforces Risen Group-KY’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in the jewelry industry.
By blending artistry with market strategy, this partnership not only strengthens Taiwan’s presence in the global jewelry scene but also sets a new benchmark for cross-industry collaborations in the art and design world.

The inaugural D.Vita Shining Star Award was proudly presented to Wu Xiaoping for her designer brand, "One N Only". During the award ceremony, Risen Group's General Manager personally awarded Wu with round-trip first-class tickets to Thailand and a short-term incubation program at the Risen Jewelry Factory in Thailand. Due to Wu Xiaoping’s illness, her sister attended the event to accept the award on her behalf.
Other notable finalists included designers Zhou Wanying and Peng Liting, whose exceptional works also garnered significant attention and praise.
Ku ChiChun, founder of DE International, delivered an inspiring message to the new generation of designers. He encouraged them to remain resilient on their transformative journey, comparing the challenges they face to the metamorphosis of a butterfly. “Whether it’s pure art or jewelry design, pursuing your dream requires tremendous passion and dedication,” Ku emphasized. As an artist himself, Ku shared his deep understanding of the struggles and challenges faced by creators—from conceptualizing and crafting their work to navigating the complexities of the market. He highlighted the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and time in achieving success.

DE International's global art development services go beyond providing comprehensive overseas art consultancy, private auction services, and personalized career guidance for creators and designers. Through one-on-one consultations, DE International leverages its robust network and tools, including hybrid solutions, product analysis models, brand planning, and subscription-based social media management, to support the growing demand for commercialization in Taiwan’s art and design industries.
By integrating D.Vita Dream Designer Projects with art exhibitions, the upgraded Art and Design Collaboration Program 2.0 provides a structured, multi-phase incubation curriculum. This program addresses the common market awareness gap among art and design professionals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to expand Taiwan’s artistic and commercial horizons.
In 2021, Risen-KY achieved annual revenues nearing NT$2.1 billion as an OEM for several internationally renowned European and American luxury brands. The D.Vita Dream Designer Project has successfully identified emerging designers, many of whom have recently graduated and are now navigating careers in employment, entrepreneurship, or international design stages. Designers are selected based on three designated themes, progressing through an “Accelerated Incubation” phase that includes hands-on guidance in concept development, 3D modeling, product prototyping, and new product launches.
The annual D.Vita Shining Star Award recognizes top talents, with DE International recommending artists across various fields. Risen Group further supports these creators by offering opportunities for internships and development with international brands. This initiative not only opens doors for Taiwan's art and design talents to broaden their horizons but also empowers them to establish a global perspective and presence.
